Disney Lorcana Mid-Tier Championship – November

Jednou za čas se objeví turnaj, u kterého má smysl si dopředu zarezervovat den. Ne proto, že je to povinná zastávka, ale protože víš, že když nepřijdeš, budeš pak poslouchat, jak dobré to bylo.

Stavíme ho jako otevřený kompetitivní event, kde se nehrají čtyři kola a jde se domů, ale kde se hraje celý den, řeší se každý detail a kde se postupně ukáže, kdo má deck opravdu pod kontrolou. Kapacita 80 hráčů už není „větší lokálka“. To už je pole, kde začne dávat smysl příprava, zkušenost i to, jak zvládáš tempo turnaje.

A zároveň si nechceme hrát na něco, co to není. Není to oficiální Championship ani kvalifikace. Ale je to přesně turnaj, který ti dá reálnou odpověď na to, jak na tom jsi mimo svoji bublinu.

Každý hráč při check-inu dostane dárkovou taštičku. Ne nic „aby se neřeklo“, ale reálně malý balíček na začátek dne – booster, promo karty a pár drobností navíc. Prostě něco, co si odnese každý bez ohledu na výsledek.

Turnaj poběží celý den, takže jsme nechtěli řešit klasický problém „kam si odskočit mezi koly“. Na místě budou připravené švédské stoly, které se budou během dne průběžně doplňovat. Můžeš zůstat, jíst, hrát a řešit další kolo bez zbytečného odbíhání.

Prize pool je postavený podle oficiální struktury a sahá až do TOP 64. Nehraje se tedy jen o vršek, ale smysl má bojovat i ve chvíli, kdy turnaj nejde úplně podle plánu.

Během dne poběží i doplňkové věci mimo hlavní prize pool. Některé věci je zbytečné tlačit jen na výsledky, proto budeme rozdávat část materiálu i formou losování nebo menších mini odměn během turnaje.

Tenhle turnaj není o tom „přijdu si zahrát“.
Je to spíš o tom, jestli si chceš ověřit, kde reálně stojíš.

A jestli u toho chceš být, tak je dobré to nenechávat na poslední chvíli. Kapacita 80 hráčů se u těchhle akcí plní rychleji, než si většina lidí myslí.

Dragon World Store

Every now and then, a tournament comes up that’s actually worth blocking out your day for. Not because you have to attend, but because you know that if you skip it, you’ll end up hearing how good it was afterward.

That’s exactly what this one is.

We’re building this as an open competitive event – not something where you play a few rounds and head home, but a full-day tournament where every decision matters and where, over time, it becomes clear who really has their deck under control. A capacity of 80 players is no longer “just a bigger local.” This is the kind of field where preparation, experience, and your ability to handle the pace of the tournament actually start to matter.

At the same time, we’re not trying to present it as something it isn’t. This is not an official Championship or qualifier. But it is exactly the kind of event that will give you a real answer to where you stand outside of your usual bubble.

Each player will receive a welcome goodie bag at check-in. Not just something symbolic, but a proper small starter pack for the day, a booster pack, promo cards, and a few extra goodies. Something everyone takes home, regardless of their final standing.

The tournament is planned as a full-day event, so we didn’t want players to deal with the usual “where do I grab food between rounds” problem. There will be buffet-style catering available on-site, restocked throughout the day. You can stay, eat, play, and move straight into the next round without unnecessary interruptions.

The prize pool follows the official structure and extends all the way down to Top 64. This means it’s not just about the very top – it’s worth fighting even if your tournament doesn’t go exactly as planned.

Throughout the day, there will also be additional giveaways outside of the main prize pool. Not everything needs to be tied strictly to results, so some items will be distributed through raffles or smaller in-event rewards.

This isn’t a “just come and play a few games” kind of tournament.
It’s more about finding out where you actually stand.

And if you want to be part of it, it’s worth not leaving it until the last minute. Events like this tend to fill up faster than most people expect.
